We are working on Rural development projects , providing Solar street lights , solar home light systems , solar reading lamps to rural population .
Through Solar power we not only helps in providing electricity to rural part but also raising awareness to rural population about the benefits of using Non-conventional source of energy .

WATER AND SANITATION PROJECTS
Surya Shakti Foundation is working very hard in this field .We are helping rural India in providing clean drinking water.We are providing awareness about sanitation in rural part .We are working on Bio-digested toilets for Rural India .

We provide education to students who are differently able. Their program includes Vocational Skill , Home Skills. Self Help program

Surya Shakti Foundation works on youth empowerment for unemployed and economically backward students, we provide vocational training to the the youth and helps them in getting jobs and setting up their own startups.

WASTE TO COOKING GAS
We are working with innovative people and believe its only through innovative products you can help the society to grow fast.
Digesting wet organic waste in a sealed chamber.
Place wet organic waste, such as food waste, in a sealed chamber with no air inside. As it digests, the waste will release a gas which can be captured and used for cooking.
It helps in solving the major problem of dumping waste and thus also provides free cooking gas to people.
BIO- TOILETS FOR RURAL AREA
IRRIGATION THROUGH SOLAR
Irrigation is the major problem of our farmers , where there is very less rainfall throughout the year. Surya Shakti Foundation with the help of local people and volunteers are actively working in creating awareness among poor people , and help them in providing solar irrigation system with the help Corporate support.
INSTALLATION OF OF SANITARY VENDING MACHINES
The Sanitary vending machine is utilized by young girls and women during their menstruation. We are providing easy access to sanitary napkins across their work places, schools, colleges and public places like bus stations, airports, hospitals and shopping malls. This would not only provide easy access, but also help to empower women and create awareness about women’s health.
The main reasons for this taboo still being relevant in the Indian society are high rate of illiteracy especially in girls, poverty and lack of awareness about menstrual health and hygiene. Only less than 18 per cent of Indian women use sanitary pads.
Our volunteers are not only helping in installation such units but also helping in creating awareness for the same.
SOLAR COLD STORAGE FOR FARMERS
Solar Cold Storage that provides smallholder farmers— help reduce post-harvest losses. Farmers using the refrigerated units powered by solar are moving away from diesel-powered generators for cold storage, hence reducing the environmental impact.
